the car market is depressd just now but with almost no new car sale second hane prices will firm up in a while. the thing to remember is with a little bit of TLC your Zed will do well over 100K miles and be exciting the whole time . enjoy zeddom

I read somewhere that people thought it would be a future classic. When you see the new Z4, this coupe really seems much better a design IMO. Just hope I can keep it that long!

It would go great with my other classic vehicle...... (76 Honda CB750)...

I happen to think the coupe is one of the prettiest cars BMW have ever made. It's rare especially in 'M' spec so it should be a future classic IMO. However, it's hard to predict how car values will settle in the future. If HM Gov continue to slap taxes on motoring in order to help pay for the massive debts this country has run up bailing out a load of bankers then big engined thirsty coupes may continue to be bargains to buy but expensive to run :thumbsdown:

I'm afraid that the amount of miles I put on my car will reduce its value considerably. Maybe I should let it sit undriven for a few years..... NO WAY!

I'll keep an eye on the weather and see what the next few weeks brings us. Now that Obama is in and the UK has signed the Climate Change Agreement, the weather should begin to settle down. What with China reducing output and everyone stopping smoking for their New Year's Resolution, we should be onto a very settled late February.

If i see the changes happen, i'll post a Central Scotland run day and we can dust down the cars.
