Triangle strut brace for M

I'm looking for a triangular strut brace to replace the two singles in the top of the engine. Ideally one that goes over the top of the suspension housing rather than the broken type bracket. There seems to be options for non m but I'm struggling to find one for the M. Will apologise in advance I've missed something but sure they are not the same. Ideas and links happily received.

I borrowed an Ultra triangular brace to see if it would fit. Actually I'm pleased it didn't, because it looked a bit cheap and tacky on the car. I went for a standard brace which I'm very pleased with but I think it does more for cosmetics than performance.

I run an E46 M3 brace on the M.
Minor mod to camber pins and it bolts straight on

I was looking at these but was put off by getting slapped with import tax etc . Can I ask how much you had to pay ?

But that's not a triangle one that replaced the OE rear braces - that's just a normal strut brace.

I bought an ultra racing strut brace and agree that it doesn’t win on looks but certainly is robust and does the job, looks better when painted to match engine bay. The one piece triangulated brace does firm up things more than the normal type which only bridges the strut towers. Would have thought it would fit the M but I have a 3.0.

Remember to check with your insurer as a lot of them don’t cover the fitting of a strut brace.

Nice one ! I added it to basket on the website and it came up with £170.53 for just shipping charges . This may help the OP make a decision on this brace anyway .

You only really need to get a 3 point one if the plates the the tower have snapped, saying that, you can get replacement plates from BMW. Just make sure you get it welded by a professional who can TIG weld.
