I have luckily managed to get the buildings insurance where I live to cough up to sort it out, and the guy that gave me the quote for the work said he could do the whole front end for £600 so it made me think I could also get these long standing issues sorted at the same time

The guy's name is Joe and he comes well recommended, he drives an AC Cobra which he has repainted and looks immmaculate, some examples of his work....

I was a little concerned that the paint booth might be a little dusty, but he assures me there are no problems there. So I just need to get it booked in for around April time ready for the Summer events! :driving:

Good stuff. I had my nose cone & spoiler done over Winter. Now I wish I'd had the bonnet done too !

I hope yours will be ready for the 24th April Flimper ...?

Quite a few bits there to get sorted out. Should look like a new car once done. I need to get my bonnet done ( self inflicted scratches) and the usual chips on the bumper, hope all goes well

Your final 2 images look like someone threw an egg at your car?

Recall those circular shapes when someone decided to do the same on my S2000 with 6 of them.

Exactly that, kids on Haloween night 4-5 years ago, if only I could have got my hands on the little loves

@concused;)
think we could all do with that type of oven;)

May I recommend 3 m once done buddy?
As going to get my nose done for summer and 3m on top to protect :)

That seems to be a very competitive price although I do share your unease at the state of the spray booth!

You don't want bits in paint not dried in!

Ps BMW quoted me £400 for nose
Mercedes's £250
Main dealer prices
So I'd ask around ref your guys work

Possibly v good
But just because it's an Aston/911 doesn't mean he's good
As sometimes people will scrimp!

Hi Flimper, could you pass me his details please - I've been needing to get my bonnet and door and rear quarter done for ages. I think my bumper is past saving to be honest, so I'm trying to get a spare to get sprayed - if you get good results he'll be getting a load of work from me! lol

I'm hoping the weather warms up, desperate to use the 3M paint defender I have bought on my newly painted front bumper before I fit it.

Sure Ed will mention that there is another interested party when he comes back to me with a finalised quote

I did paint these up yesterday though (Sorry for thread highjack Mark)

They are black, although the one in the foreground looks grey :?
