Treated myself to a GoPro

Had a mental week with a couple of 18-hour working days so treated myself to a new toy this evening, a GoPro Hero 3. £160 from Argos at the moment.

I suddenly thought it might be great as a dashcam. Top quality footage and with the loop function. Has anybody had any experience of them?

Also downloaded the GoPro app which lets you change all the settings and view the picture live remotely Should keep me busy over the weekend!

But that video had no part in my thought process of buying one today. Or so I thought!!

i love my go pro. you will wanna buy some spare battery's because they don't last very long. i have also been told to avoid the sandisk ultra sd cards as they can cause problems. i personally have a samsung pro sd card.

Hahah, wel remembered. I have added to them (thanks Natwest ) as I need to buy a new Canon body as well.

All that Russia travel (paid on my private CC) gave me load of points, £1500 in total, so rather than spend that on air tickets for holidays I am converting them all in Amazon vouchers 8)

I use my 3+ as a dashcam and it does a great job.

Just ordered a head mount for mine today for when I'm messing about on a jet ski, in the sea or on a lilo.
