Travelling to France

No need for breath analyser, the law never got in-force. Thank you govt for this second thought!
However, don't forget a yellow safety jacket that you're supposed to carry with you for in case of an emergency stop on the road.
I think that's all with what you have mentioned.

Oh, and maybe make sure as well you have a flat tire repair kit with you, but that would also be relevant in UK or anywhere away from home, I am sure 8)

Enjoy your trip!

breathalyser, as as above you dont need them now - I was reading somewhere that the former President Nicolas Sarkozy who bought them in was a major share holder in a company that manufactured them

Noooooo. Surely that cannot be true. That would mean that a politician had his nose in the trough!!

Many thanks for the input guys. Unfortunately I am not going in the Zed, got to take wife and kids this time so the Mazda 3 is getting an outing.

Apologies if i misled you all  . Hopefully going later in year with just my daughter to Normandy, so the Zed will get it's outing then.

Don't you also need a basic first aid kit, as in Germany, or have I missed this in an earlier reply?

No. Also not required in Germany unless the car is German registered.

Has anyone ever looked into adjusting the headlights on the E89 for going into Europe?

A lot of confusion on the forum:
