Hi guys, I have a question for the forum. Is anyone familiar with the Z4 E85 going into transport mode after the battery dies? If so can it be reset without a scanner tool? Thanks in anticipation

You need bmw software like ista or similar

The car will enter transport mode when it sees a very low battery condition, in transport mode the car shuts down some of the electrical systems on the car. The blower motor will only run at a slow setting, heated rear sceen is locked out and aircon will be disabled.
BMW Inpa can reset and BMW Scanner 1.4 on a laptop can be used to reset it to Normal mode that restores functions.
 
Hi, I'm in Llanelli South Wales, does anyone know somewhere that's non dealer that can reset this? I've just bought a Z4 and the heater is weak and air con and rear window de mister are not working. Thank you.
 
garethjack, sent you a pm but you dont seem to have read it, I'm in Newport and can reset transport mode for you, currently got Covid after returning from holiday so self isolating at the momen but can arrange a time when I test clear.
