'Transport mode'?? after flat battery

To be honest the car has been absolutley fine withy the old battery in when used everyday- it was only when left for 30+ hours untouched that it struggled to start or, on 2 occassions wouldnt start at all.

Did initially think that something may still be running draining it over a long period but, from the 12.19v it seems it was the battery. Was going to double check the voltage again before i put the new one in but left my multimeter at work- will check tonight.

Will be nipping to see a fellow forum member tomorrow who has the software to reset it so fingers crossed it'll sorted tomorrow.

You did the right thing in replacing the battery, with the colder weather coming and all that, u may find it would not hold enough charge overnight never mind 30hrs +

Update- went to visit a fellow forum member Mac today & he has reset transport mode so its functioning as per normal now. MASSIVE thanks to Mac- extremely knowledgable & a nice chap!! (lovely Z4 too!)

I think your right Keyper - It does seem to crank over better now with the new battery installed, especially after being stood over night

Nice to meet you and clad I could be of assistance.
Also coded triple blink, lights flash on lock / unclock, auto lock if unopened after 2 mins and auto lock after pulling off.

You need to get intravee and alpine 420 unit along with updated sat nav disc with firmware v32 for perspective view.
