Transmission tunnel draught

Noticeable only in winter for obvious reasons, but if I rest my arm on the centre armrest there's a distinct and noticeable chilly draft.
Having Olivers' superb milled steel gearknob and handbrake handle doesn't help matters as even though they look amazing they send a chill up my arm on touching. :roll:

1st world problems I suppose, but does anyone else have a draughty transmission tunnel?
I'm suspecting my lack of an undertray may be contributing to this phenomenon.

There are significant seals on both gear selector and handbrake channel. It is conceivable that they have perished but most likely culprit is misfitted gear selector seal IMO.

You won't see anything from underneath unless you remove the exhaust, heat shields and propshaft!

Best to check from above. Remove the gaiter and centre console trim.
