okay so i have a 2004 2.5i z4 and its a auto trans and i was thinkin about switching to manual. does anyone know were i can find all the parts that i would need for this? i live in u.s.a texas.

i have also found a manual transmission from a 3.0 z4 would that fit onto my 2.5i?

OH LOL!! :D

seriously though...I think swapping from an auto to a manual is a complete re-wired loom, ECU etc...I wouldn`t bother, just sell car and buy a manual!

Unless you are doing all the work yourself, and are an experienced mechanic, I would be inclined to agree.... The cost of the parts is bound to cancel out the hit of trading in your existing car?
 
Way too much work on a Zed to even contemplate. From pedal box, ECU, to regearing of the rear diff, new prop, etc. etc.

Trade cars as posted above.

If you're really keen to do then I'd find a whole scrap car as a donor.
