Tranny reverse problems, Need urgent tranny help!

So i bought my 05 bmw z4 3.0i w/ auto tranny in summer 2017, had intermittent limp mode problems till i had to rebuild it in december 2017. Year later reverse failed, shop fixed for free. And just a month and a half ago reverse failed again, took to shop and they fixed it for $200(warranty just expired) and said I shouldn’t have any problems for years with the tranny.
And now I'm having a hard thud when going from drive/park to reverse(happens more from drive). I had a friend stand by my car while i switch to reverse and he said the heavy thud came came from the wheel general area.
It doesn’t really happen upon cold start up, mostly after its sat in the hot southern cali sun for the day. It drive amazing and has no problems other than that. I just replaced the motor mounts two weeks ago thinking that might help but no to avail.

Today i will remove the exhaust/heat shield to see if my giubo/flex and or driveshaft center support need to be replaced, read that can sometimes do weird stuff like that. Also will see if i can check the tranny solenoids while im down there.
Any other ideas?

Take it back the the garage, it's obviously not working correctly

I fully understand that this is due to varying use of the English language, but I was expecting to see some form of medical advice being asked for!

i did yesterday morning. They are going to go through the tranny and see whats up and replace whatever it is for free as this is the 4th time they’ve worked on it in the past two years, 3rd time for no reverse.(think they just about rebuilt it for a second time with all they’ve replaced).
