I would imagine the air pressure is set per size of the tire, not type of tire. PCA always recommended running high tire pressure, mid to upper 30's, in low profile wide tires to keep from wearing out the center of the tire. Low pressure at high speed would (can't spell this) centriphical force would pull the tire out and wear the center. High pressure would hold the tire flat and less the effect, as well as worked well to prevent roll. That was their story and worked for me. Your results may vary.
