Ok, I'm giving up and consulting the oracle. (that's you Forum members!) Wanted to change the rear trailing arm bushes so read a few how to's and all looked very straightforward. Removed everything, lower wheel arch cover, pipe and sensor clips etc (even the one round the back) Undid and removed the bolts holding the bush cage and pushed down on the trailing arm to lower it for access to the cage cross bolt. The bush and cage came down 30-40mm (took a lot of effort) and will not come down any further even using leverage and a lot of force. Any thoughts from anyone on something I've missed? All the posts on this just say push down the arm, as simple as that! The photos I've seen show the bush down below the sill. The bush on my trailing arm is still not even clear of the pocket that the cage bolts up to!
