Well done mate!
My missus was going a tad fast after work on Kingston bridge heading home as her dad is in hospital. She said "about 70mph" the road is a 50 there until just by ibrox cut off.
The pc pulled up beside her in marked car and waved as she described it "a paddle saying 50mph on it".
She slowed down and the BiB drove on.
Again well done for sensible head and wee warning as opposed to pulling her.
Mibbee the combination of nice car nice driver :D

It's refreshing to hear a good word about the BiB's once in a while,if only to show they are not all single celled vindictive patronising bar stewards. Good one

I wouldn't mind a set of those paddles to remind the people dawdling at 40 in 60 zones!

They will be the same single celled vindictive patronising bar stewards who have to scrape up the mess left by the single celled idiot Z4 car drivers who cant properly handle their car and usually take out other innocent motorists when they crash.

Oh and.....

'The Bib are an Hindkowan tribe found in the Abbotabad District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. They occupy two villages between the Rash plains and Thandiani range. The BiB claim to be a branch of the Awan tribe, a claim generally not accepteb by the Awans. They, like the Awans claim descent from the fourth Caliph of Islam, Ali. Their customs are similar to neighbouring Hindkowan communities, and they are entirely Sunni'

The speed limit is the maximum allowable you can drive at for that particular road, NOT the speed you have to drive at. :)

It is not a target :)

What can I say, I like to "make progress". And to be fair, most those 40mph'ers continue to do so once they reach a 30 zone - and that's the bit that gets to me.

Wish our police officers did that. :)
On the other hand, many of our roads (typically around school zones) we have those radar speed limit signs that tell you the speed you're travelling automatically; and flash the correct speed limit if you're going over the limit.
