Traffic Map highlighting wrong side of the road

I've noticed in map view with traffic switched on (orientated north) the traffic indicators (Green, Amber, Red) are on the wrong side of the road. For example driving on north on the M25 the other day and it showed the left side of the motorway as red and the right as green, however my carriageway was clear and the southbound was blocked. If I zoomed right in to you could see both carriageways it flipped. However on single carriageways it also the wrong side not matter how much you zoom in. I need to check the other map modes to see if they are effected. Anyone else noticed this?
 
Its been raised by someone before, its a bug and its been corrected with the latest iDrive software update from your dealer. Whether you can get this done for free is another matter!

hmmm mine is brand new 2013 model..... It's at dealer now so will ask.
 
Apparantly a CD update is required. One has been order "under warranty" and I need to pop into dealer next saturday to get it "fitted".
