Traders?

Hi mods.

Do you have any 'traders' presence on the forum?

I've just started up as a detailer/used cars sales and as a result I've ended up with a few trade accounts with some companies.

I should be able to do some decent prices on a few (in the initial instance) bits of detailing kit as well as the other bits I do.

Can someone let me know what the drill is or if being a 'trader' is a definite no no.

I think there's a forum member who runs RODetailing, but had to go easy on the advertising on the forum....

It's was arranged by a broker with Marker Study. I was really surprised how cheap you can do it to be honest and it covers me for the Valeting.

The only thing is they ask for proof of trading which is a bit of a pain when you've just set up so it was a scramble to get some invoices in.

Not yet but I've struggled with the car sales since I started if I'm totally honest so I'm wondering if it might be a good idea to revert to my more eccentric style!

So is it generally considered a no goer to offer services and products to the forum?

Hey your dead right to be fair but then that's why I put this thread up because I didn't want to take any liberties. I like selling to people a who seem like a nice crowd and between the 350z lot and you guys here your all a pretty good peeps.

It's hard enough trying to be a regular poster on one forum!
