Trade in prices?

With a new addition to the family pending,needs must and the car has to go sadly.So has anybody traded in a 03 plate lately and what price you got for it.Just so I know a ballpark figure and don't get ripped off.
 
Perhaps you could add the engine size, optional equipment etc etc.
 
What car Valuation is quite accurate. When I traded in my E60 in February this year, the price what car got was very close.
 
The best way is to watch the classifieds on Auto Trader and Piston Heads.
I usually make a note of the cars and see how long they are up for and what price. You have to watch the market as over pricing is point less as nobody will come and have a look.
 
I was always told extra equipment is worth nothing ,just makes the car easier to sell.Anyway the car has got a few extra's.

Using vauxhalls glass's guide anywhere between 8-10k, not sure how up to date the prices are though but there normally good.

I've been on the net and looked up webyanycay/webuyyourcar and all you see are horror story's.One guy was offered 3k for his 1989 carrera.90% of people who went to these places regretted big time.
