Traction light coming and off randomly?

Hi all, looking at a z4 and the owner has reported this as an issue. he isn't sure what it is. I was thinking it could be the steering angle sensor but not sure what else it could possibly be.

anyone got any ideas? is this a common fault?
 
If the traction light is coming on whilst driving normally it could be several reasons which could cost you loads trying to find out. Get it checked out proffesionally.
 
It's not my car but yeh. I held off buying the car after doing more research. It could b so many things. The guy will get it sorted then sell it. I wouldn't buy it as is unless I was getting a crazy deal on it. Wouldn't want to risk it.

Just check that he doesn't only remove the bulb :thumbsup:
 
On start up all the lights should come on and then go out. That's how MOT testers spot that old chestnut for airbag lights :)
