Track wheel alignment spec

I am looking for an aggressive wheel alignment spec for a moderate to high speed track. I am at the moment underpowered as i will be going up against sti's and evos so with upgraded brakes and semi slicks, i plan to keep up on corners. Any wheel alignment specs would be greatly appreciated

-1.5 for the rear and -1 for the front should do the job. Depending on the track's spec and the drivers AWDs are not that great for track usage. It is very hard to overcome the lag if you are not a turbo car driving expert. If you have a 3.0i or anything that is more powerfull you have a very good chance to finish ahead of them.
To back up my above statement, I own a manual 2003 3.0 with stock everything. I have managed high 56's where the Evo Xs are faster than me by only 1 sec. I am pretty sure BBk and slick would be enough to catch them. I also own a Eagle Talon AWD with stroked and highly tuned 4G63 Evo engine. The car is just a pain in the ass to drive on track. Even though I have more than 400hp at 19psi, I could only managed a low 54 (the car has BBK, Coilovers, thicker sway bars etc etc..)
Wish you all the best for your fun day.

In adittion to Memo's information I'd drop a PM to member 'Curtis' He's been tracking and setting up Z4's for track use for ages and gave me a set of base values to dial in.

I'm sure he'll advocate removing the pins out the top of the struts and moving them inboard for 1.5 degrees of castor.

heheh YEP'!!! He is the Man :)...

He helped me alot on both cars. He might even give you some drivig advises for track.

the pin is already out from my last adjustment with great rear camber then front. Also toe in in the front and the rear giving it a more easy drive. Was not sure if i should toe out the front and toe in the rear as it was a difficult drive before

Depends how far you want to go, but a set of adjustable top-mounts isn't too expensive and will give you much more movement, allowing you to get up to (and over) -2.5deg camber on the front, which will really sharpen up the front end on turn in.

Yeah, with slicks you want to be running alignments that you wouldn't run on normal road tyres, especially the front camber which is better up over 2 deg negative with a slick tyre, as sixspeed pointed out.

Iirc, even the CSL running PS Cups is better with more negative camber on track than the road setup it originally came with.

I run 2.5deg neg camber on the front with my road tyres. The improvement in turn-in is night-and-day. I've never run slicks or "trackday" ((Pilot Cups/R888s etc) tyres on my Z.

I got my top mounts from a company in Australia, called K-Mac (http://www.k-mac.com.au/).
