Sneak Peak - Aggressive Track Wheel Setup on Non-M

I know most of the users here are across the pond but in case you have not heard, Apex Racing (US based) has produced set of budget friendly performance wheels without sacrificing weight nor strength. A lot of members who track/race their cars have had nothing but positive things to say about them. Known for their CSL inspired design but with lots of concavity, they had a wide variety of offsets in 18" to cater the 1-series up to e9x M's. However 18" rubbers can be quite expensive when you're tracking the car so they recently released their Arc-8 design in 17". I jumped on their latest group buy and picked up a set of 17x9.5 et35 for both front and rears. The wheels are wrapped in 255/40-17 Hankook RS-3. Here's a sneak peak of just the rears:

I will get the fronts sorted next week. While the 9.5's would fit the stock suspension fine (with just a little camber needed), my coupe is lowered on coilovers and thus the sway bracket rubs with the wheel. A simple fix to that is to order shorter/adjustable front end links and lower the sway bracket. Hopefully parts will arrive by next weekend and I can update the thread with better pictures =)

Here's the picture thread of the 17" design by others, mostly e36 and e46 content.

Btw - I am NOT affiliated with Apex in any way, just thought I'd let others know about these wheels considering they ship internationally.

Finally got the rest to fit: 17x9.5 et35 square, 255/40-17 Hankook RS-3, AST 4100 & Vorshlag plates with 2.8deg camber
