Track Day Insurance

Hi All,
Im soon to take my Z4M to a track for the evening and was wondering about track day insurance? It seems from talking to friends that not many people bother?
My concern is less about bashing my own car (that will be my own fault and should be affordable) but what if i manage to slide into the side of some guys Ferarri or something and they decide to bill me for a HUGE repair bill?

Id be interested to hear your view on this, should I get insurance and if so from where?!!

I've been to the Ring twice without incident, and all the track day sites suggest you should be ok - but that really has me put off the idea taking the risk anymore because you just never know....last time I tried to get cover was for the 'Ring, it was £230 for 4 hours cover and a £3k excess - so I didn't bother. I do hope track day cover is less ridiculous
 
My last insurance company (Greenlight) used to charge £80 per trackday excluding the ring and coombe. Not sure if that's changed, however they don't insure cars over 25K so not much use for the Z4M.
