Did anyone else attend this show today?
Some beautiful cars on display, a credit to all the owners. I never realised how many TR6's and Stags there are out there.

here's a few pics for all the old car enthusiasts.

Lovely cars
How Triumph went from the TR6 to the TR7 I'll never know.
The 6 should have developed into something more like the Z IMO.

If anyone does go, please keep a look out for a red Spitfire 1500 Reg No: NTW568P.

I owned that car until 1981 and sold it when I lived in Sheffield. I know the car is still on the road and assume that an enthusiast owns it now.

Yeah I know what you mean about the TR7, never did anything for me back in the day.
I'm quite drawn to the TR6 though, but not the price tag they are fetching.

Thinking about it I never saw a Spitfire there :o

I sold my stag about 2 months ago and now I'm looking for a replacement. TR6 is just about affordable but, 5,4,3 and 2 have got stupid. I'd say the recession has increased classic car values by 50-100%. There will probably be inevitable drop in values when/if the real word economy gets back to where it was. Similar things happened I the late 80's and early 2000's.

Itching for a morgan though!,,
