the sensor above the oilfilter housing is the tps right? i broke that sensor like a dummy and now the eml light and service engine light and traction control light is on.
just swap it out and all should be good right?
i broke it trying to disconnect the wire. im pretty upset i hate when i do something like that.
i ordered one from partsgeek for 58$ shipped. dealer wants 130$ for the same thing and of course not in stock.
poor thing is un driveable.
Make sure you order a genuine Bosch sensor, if it's a lot cheaper it might not be gen and cause you other issues. Expensive as BMW are when it comes to sensors its sometimes best knowing your getting the real deal

well just got my parents wiper switch for their 06 mercedes c230 and it was marked genuiem oem from partsgeek and it a mercedes part all the way.
so hopefully my bmw tps will be oem. if it is what a dealer mark up! will see im missing my zed!
got the new sensor installed. was a bmw part. ran good but the service engine soon light was still on. cleared with my snap on scanner and all is good! im happy to have my zed back!!
