anyone used the paints4u kit???

Yes I have after seeing some good reviews on detailing forum, I brought their scratch master kit.
In the right hands it seem to get good results.

I've only tried it once, found it quite hard to do using the supplied paint spears so need to get a very fine brush before I have another go.

I've tried various kits in the past and I think the key is how you apply it.

For me a games workshop fine brush is great for filling stone chips but it's a long process.

I've never been able to do anything with scratches apart from clay, polish and wax.

I'm thinking of trying one of those combined paint and clear coat bottles from amazon as I always ruin it with the clear coat.

Whatever you try report back.

the cheapest method i've found was a halfords touch up kit, a pot of cocktail sticks, t-cut, turtle wax colour match polish and a final wax.

paint in the stone chips, either cocktail stick or v fine paint brush, leave it for an hour or so, then lightly t cut to flatten off blobs, polish, wax, and then it doesn't look too bad.

i know there are kits on the market, but, the reality is, however much i spend, i still apply them with the skill of a pissed gorilla...
