A quick update, The car is again back with the dealers for the sat nav fault, now 7 times in total.
Last week they replaced the broken trim on the transmission tunnel

. As for the scratch on the wing
it's been t cutt out. I'll just have to live with it now.
I've been told that they will not re- programme my key setting as it could be causing the nav fault!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah Right..........
Last week I picked up the car to find that they have put back the nav software to a very early version which lacked
alot of functions. I got the feeling that I was just being fobbed off so went back in to find out what they have been doing with the car for 5 days... One of the Tech's came out and explained that they do not have the correct software for my car hence the reason for installing the early version just so that they could get it to work, and it would need to be brought back again. I was told that the car was fixed by the service desk
The nav system still does not work and just wanders off after a few miles. I was in Blackpool last week and it told me I was in Rural Cheshire.I have even filmed it to prove that the damn thing is useless...............
I'm just so ucked off now I'm thinking off getting shot of the car totally.
I will be writing a large letter of complaint to BMW UK to highlight this farce. The car has been in the dealer now for 34 days in total for the same fault, to no avail.
So far the heres whats happened....
New nav screen incorrectly fitted. Still not refitted correctly after 2 visits, I've asked them to sort out every time I drop off the car. Looks like I'll be doing that myself then
Scratch to the front left wing, approx 14 inches long, T Cutt'ed by myself.
Broken trim on the transmission tunnel, Fixed on the last vist
Key functions wiped. They won't reprogramme as it might interfere with the Nav
Just needed to vent.........
