On second thought Pondy is indefensible, so he ought to say sorry, definitely.

No chance of that.
Here we go! Mr "I only get involved when there is something negative to say about someone" has turned up!

Hi guys. I'd like to keep this post highlighted in a positive light, helping each over out and giving to charity has been great. It's what I look for in this forum. Let's keep it friendly , and more importantly civil.

In other words... No more fighting please or keep it to pm's with each other and maybe clear the air :poke: 🤣.

Does this check service reveal much? Never used it, only used an Hpi check many years ago,
Looking at old sub 10k Zeds

I was getting a low milage z4, at 80k so the report gave me reassurance that it hadn't been tampered with. You can get some mileage idea from looking up MOT history, but the report gives you everything in between such as DVLA changes etc.

Can also see cherished plate history, finance, if it's written off, valuation and what I found interesting is length of previous ownerships. I leaned with my car for example, it was very highly spec'd top engine and options and the last year for the z4, but first owner only kept for 1 month before being sold. Makes me wonder if it was dealer or OEM demo of some kind.

Anyway, for the cost of a car, and a small relative cost of a check, it seemed worth it to me.

I spent several times £20 for a check, but not 100% sure how much more I got compared to the free ones though.

Some of the data wasn't actually available which I thought it would be (service details as in logged by dealers).

I don't think any of them provides service history which is a huge shame sadly and what most people would want. I did look up only best car checkers to use and settled on this one. It's wasn't that expensive and I got some assurances from it, even if it didn't have service stuff.

As long as you don't expect too much from it I guess it's fine. :)

I’ve used carvertical a couple of times because every YouTuber in town seems to advertise it.
I was expecting to see photos of the car when it was previously sold and what options it had been specced with.
I got neither and was slightly disappointed by it.

Yeah I nearly went car vertical due to every you tuber banging on about it. But didn't see great things when I looked into user reviews so decided to use another. Sadly that didn't give me pictures either. Not sure of any that do unless it's in a salvage yard.
