Thinking of paying for an total bush refresh oem, not sure how many there are?
at 11 year old and 48k is it worth doing or am I just chucking money down the drain :scratchhead:

If your cars a keeper then why not.
You'll be doing it for your own benefit not someone else's

One of those things where you didn’t realise how bad they were until you replace I’d imagine. If your in a position to get them done then I definitely would. 11 years is a long time regardless of mileage.

On the z4m there are 20.
But also 4 outer control arm ball joints (technically not bushings, but worth taking them too in the swap)
Also 2 rear arb linkeage (with rubber inserts), and of course 2 gearbox suspension rubbers and 2 rubber motor suspension rubbers.
Also the propshaft bearing sits in a rubber surround, so technically a rubber bushing I guess.
Where do you want the definition to start and where to end

It would seem a bit over the top to do anything more than the ones that commonly wear to me (rear trailing arm and front wishbone), especially at that mileage.

Just did the very same on mine, night and day difference! It's as if the car had no suspension before

You won't regret it, OEM is definitely the right way to go too...

I'm with ph001,as unless your car has been utterly abused, only the 4 bushes mentioned are likely to have worn.
