Torx screw size?

Time to fit my wind deflector but it didn’t come with any screws. The car came with the brackets already installed so I just bought the actual deflector and nowt else from a guy on here.

What size screws do I need and is it a straight forward job?

I dont know what the e85 is like but on the E89 if the brackets are already attached to the roll hoops and you have the wind deflector the wind deflector just slips into the brackets from the top. You dont need screws.

Sides in until it clicks .

Brackets in the boot lid for storage if you take it off.

I leave mine on all year round.

Ok, so to hijack this a little, if you don't mind?
Which is the right way round?
Having seen pictures of others on here, I think ours may be fitted back to front.
1st world problem I know, but I'd prefer it to be correct.
Are the brackets easily swapped over from left to right? Obviously they're handed as the screen will only fit one way, but I'm guessing the holes are in the same places so I could simply turn the whole thing round?

Sorry for the delayed response, I had a free PC weekend!

It literally was a 1 minute job sliding it into place and hearing the clicks. Does make an improvement to the cabin

Enuff_zed if you are wanting some photos I can take them for you?

If you can please that would be helpful, ta. On our one, the flat side faces forwards and the lip around the mesh faces rearwards. To me, I would have thought the plain-looking side should face to the rear, so the occupant sees the nicer looking side. Ours is the opposite of that.

Yup, ours is the wrong way round.
Hopefully the mounting brackets are easily swapped over?

Mine goes on either way around? The brackets are symmetrical so I cant see how they make a difference?

Well I thought that too, but no matter how I try, it'll only fit one way?
Thank for letting me know, could save me a bit of faffing about.
I'll give it another go today.
