Torque settings

Hi all, I just need a reminder of torque settings for outer tie rod knuckle and outer control arm ball joint please. I have replaced all mine but still got play in wheel like ball joint has gone! I don't think I have tightened up enough, only used a combi spanner lol. I assume that these knuckles have to be pulled fairly tight.
As always any info is greatly appreciated

These are taper joints aren't they?
It can help to stick a jack under them while you tighten them up.
Sorry, don't know the torque settings.

Sorry I can't help with the answer but just to relay a humorous related note:

I have a Norton motorcycle and used to belong to a Norton owners club. In one of their newsletters they had a universal torque spec..."Tighten it until it strips then back off a quarter turn."

Gave me a laugh...

E46 info on this link that I use frequently but most torque values apply to E85

I'm not sure that's a bolt?

I replaced everything the lot but still got play in wheel like the bushes are worn and clunking noise. Doing my head in.
Thanks for info on torque specs.

I changed mine recently with FCP euros and they’re great. Old ones were like a N64 controller. Maybe pop into a shop and have them torque down to spec? I can’t imagine they could charge you a lot. Firestone might even do it for free if you sign up for their credit card 😂

All sorted. Pulled everything down better with car on lift better access, hard to tighten when scrabbling round on floor

Getting down the list. Brake pipes next then front crank oil seal then hopefully that's it for this year!
