Well its time for growth spurt!! we've taken on another shop and are currently in the middle of joining the two spaces together with some pretty extensive building works!! this increases capacity by x5 any given time with more storage space, new staff inbound and much shorter lead times! the weve been in this process for around 1.5 weeks and another 1.5 to go but we are CLOSE to joining the two spaces. im So excited to this happen, ill do a walk around video and post it up once its all done and the dust has settled ( excuse the all too real pun)
It's been a mad few weeks.... But we got to the final hurdle , massive shout to my building team that made this happen and of course @topwrapzltd very own Neil for being solid as always. This shop is now enormous , it's solar heated meaning this space is pretty much always in the optimum temp / humidity range for our services. The new space now gives us significantly more flexibility for drop offs and collections not to mention the ability to have another 2-4 staff members ( adverts coming soon). This move will see us make waves in this sector once again as we join forces with other shops to become a true jugganaut.

We are back open from Wednesday 24th April 
. With our new extension now open we have much more flexibility with drop offs and collections, a proper little waiting area with an Xbox and WiFi on site , but most of all, SPACE. We are still in the same location meaning we are one of very few in central Birmingham so we retain all of our precious accreditation areas. The lighting will be going in soon but I still haven't quite decided on the finished article but for now..... Let's get back to it. Tomorrow sees us wrapping a bumper and after that we start filling up with numerous PPF case studies , a full wrap and some Gtechniq new car protection installs. This space has come JUST at the right time. Welcome back to @topwrapzltd

This is taking shape nicely. Exciting times are ahead and I am super pleased for you that your business is growing. Don't allow yourself to get too stressed as expansion can bring an extra workload. Glad you are going to recruit and already have a trusted staff member. Spread the load Byron and make time to enjoy life to the full.

THE best advice ive read in a while!!! working on it B, working on it!! i need to cut my hours a touch and additional staff are on the way. the problem is i love the craft so much i struggle to put it down!
My extension is complete, now with enough space for 5 cars , I likely won't ever do that as I like to keep the quality high but just having this space feel amazing . Really pleased how it turned out. Next up, more staff.

This customer was the coolest client ever, we'd normally not take a job like this on , but we couldn't refuse for such a cool guy, Watch us turn this poor condition w204 merc coupe from ZERO to HERO.... Particularly difficult as we had to wrap the whole passenger side, in ONE hit, no pick ups, no second chance, we had ONE chance to get this right! Watch the process!!

Our academy is GO with offering PPF and Vinyl install courses once a month i am SO excited about this, anyone that knows me knows how passionate i am about the detailing / vinyl / ppf space. So to bring this to life is just amazing! I've got some AWESoME leads to follow up on and would LOVE to work with schools, colleges to inspire some of the youth of today this job is extremely challenging but oh so fun and rewarding! Not to mention it can give you a good life if you dedicate to it! Ideally this course is aimed at bodyshops, current detailing shops, new to the sector or someone looking for a career change maybe? exciting times!

After a long hiatus...... life doing a minor number on me, im back..... Business continues to do well, abit up and down this year but.... i'll be coming back to forum much more regularly this summer! Here's a video the get the juices flowing. My hair came back white after the last round of chemo a few years ago which i wear as a badge of honour , lol!
Oh this was an interesting one.... grab a cuppa and watch us deal with a VERY unhappy client that came from another shop ( we don't know what happened and didn't dig further, theirs always two sides to a story) Client came with his STEK film that was already cut by the other shop, some of the film was in a bad way ( see the video) but the client had already paid for his film so wanted us to install. The issue here means we are often left dealing with patterns in the dark, no install notes etc. Job complete and most of all, the client was extremely happy with the communication and standard of work! Watch B work through the install , iron out issues and get this one over the line!
