You are an inspiration Byron. Keep up the fight and the good work in the shop. I often think of you and how well you are coping even though I know there are days that are really tough.

youve been a breath of fresh air..... honestly felt your love and support from day one. Thankyou B.

Fitted ..... Love them. Fitment is inch perfect. But..... Here's the down side not an easy installation. I install PPF day on day out on some of the rarest and awkward vehicles out... I'd rate this 5/10 for difficulty.

The scan was perfect but due to the curvature of the light it needs a slightly stretch to get it to where it needs to be ... The scan has taken account for this on the cut piece . But the scan and cut from the machines are so clean it looks like it came from the factory like this .

Very pleased with the look and really adds some nice aggression to the front end which imo looks alittle tame.

So to recap this is proper PPF that's tinted so the light has protection from chips etc and UV damage ... It's thinner than your conventional bodywork PPF but still has solid protection capacity.

Now I've got the scan I can make them in clear PPF or these tinted versions. ill get it out the dark garage tomorrow and take some daylight pics. 3rd from bottom pic is truest to what my eyes see.... look forward to seeing it outside tomorrow but got pretty tired messing around in such a tight space.

Overall nice cheeky little project that ive enjoyed creating and love the look of. Win win.

ok currently in talks with quaife / drenth.... i'm trying to workout a air actuated sequential gearbox setup with paddle shifters! this diagnosis showed me, LIVE and give Zero Fs..... i ordered a yaris GR4 earlier in the year and after driving the car for me at least i really couldn't see what the fuss was about... Im itching for something new but the cost of everything i want is insane, So my eyes turned back once again to the old girl!

The key what i'm trying to achieve is a bolt up solution
must not need any modification to the stock shell in anyway .
must be helical cut for usability
must be able to be air paddle shifted

HEADLIGHT PPF

Guys got the car out in the ambient light and F me these look sooooo cooooollll 😍😍 as above I'm such a big kid but it completely changes the aggression of the front end . I absolutely LOVE them! but agree this is subjective!

Here's some pics of the install and some addtion pics of the car. For those that don't know this car is a 3 times concours winner. The car was built to run on the sprint scene that I love so much, it's spent alot of time on circuit .

Both PPF pieces are a HIGH GLOSS and give a lovely wet waxed look.
For anyone that wants the protection without the tint go for clear.
For those than want to add some imo serious coolness to the car but with the PPF benefits go for the tinted piece.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING, repeat do not buy YET.

BEFORE ANYONE buys add yourself to this list , after 2 weeks production will begin. I need to have an idea of how much of everything im going to need, i can then order the films needed, cut the pieces ( not a quick process) , weed them and ship out in specific PPF packaging. please only list yourself if your SURE you want a set as the rolls of PPF film are Extremely expensive and i want minimal waste. If no one wants a set then , nothing ventured, nothing lost :D :D im sorry if ive made some typos, chemo effects my brain function which was already operating at Neanderthal level, LOL.

1 Byron - Clear / tinted
2
3
and so on.

installation instructions and cost are HERE - AGAIN please don't buy yet as i need to work out how much film ill need, packaging etc. Im posting this up so people can see if they feel they can install themselves or if they need to take the car to a local detailing company that can install PPF.

Another update on these.....

Tried some night testing .... Can't see much different in light output at all ... Which is excellent. ( I can't comment of normal haolgen bulbs ) but on this model, can't see much at all. These will be staying on the car for me. PPF plus enhanced visuals . Win.

Got a couple coming in the shop December for installs of these .

A total blessing to be able to get up , and still do this in the middle of chemotherapy . Feels amazing . 70% of the car done in one day .
