Today the best news possible from this situation landed. The biopsy shows VERY early stage 1 cancer, Absolutely zero spread anywhere, the cancer itself is tiny and isolated and should be relatively easy to remove without major surgery, surgery is definitely needed but... it could have been much worse. , it's a completely different ball game to what it could have been, no chemo or radio-therapy is likely to be needed.
i literally feel like kissing the ground ..
one thing i will say this situation has completely changed my mindset on many things i feel like a very... very lucky man.

Byron, this is absolutely great news I am so pleased for you and your family, you will beat this horrid disease, I am positive that you will come back stronger than ever and with only surgery which is a blessing in itself.
My father was diagnosed with the same in early Jan, unfortunately it had spread (T4) and he passed away on 01st March, it has certainly made me look at life differently.

It made me look at my life and I can assure you I do not intend to work 60 hour weeks anymore, this is not a dress rehearsal there is no second chance so make the most of it while you can is my new motto.

You must listen to the Doc. Running a one-man business can be a huge mental strain. If you can't stop, at least slow down. Allow more time between jobs and put some 'chill' music on in the shop. Stop worrying about 'this and that', just worry about 'this' and f**k 'that'.Beedub said:Went to hospital... The doctor said rest.....
Can't stop. Won't stop. Another big case study in the shop. Very very difficult car to wrap to a paint like standard. Literally stripped everything off I could.

Beedub said:NOT THE NICEST OF VIDS TO put out but.... i didn't want to waste the footage on this one. Filming was ended abruptly after the call from the doctors informing me of the changes to my cancer diagnosis :-( , i haven't put much updates up as the news early on kept changing and moving around resulting in me actually not knowing the path.
This has got to be one of the most difficult moments of my life. So in summary, filming for this job was well underway, the car required a whole heap of strip down and it was not fun at all. Already in a low place after being told i have stage 1 cancer before the job started but it was about to get painfully worse , the doctor calls with the camera running as i was about to record a segment, im then told after the initial scans they got wrong and its infact a stage 3 cancer and has a small spread . My world literally crumbled at the moment and combined with the stress of the job and then hearing that life changing news.... All i could think about was my 9 year old son, i REALLY struggled to get through this one after hearing that news. Luckily my partner was on hand to pick me up like she always does and together we finished the job. I wanted to release this video as im extremely proud to have finished it, my head is in a good space and i'm ready for this next chapter of my life. A Tough day no doubt. As i type this Chemo starts in 2 weeks and depending on how it is for me, i will likely need to shut down the business for a period while i recover. i will however keep posting videos etc and plan to do some bis of the chemo journey to helps others......
