Did you get to take it for a spin? I think some of them in race trim were running about 1000hp

the owner did offer me but i politely refused.... i have no interest in driving a customers car, just so many risks involved. Its definitely what id call , agricultural.... its also quite a big vehicle.... you just dont realise how big these are.

I can understand that, I'm often a little reluctant to drive other people's cars unless they're my mates. Its size is not obvious from the photographs with your Zed. It looks great in baby blue - like a psychopath in a clown costume :D

lovely thing....

this week see's me in with some serious luxury in the way of a new 100k S class merc! soooo coool!

Last one out the door before a week off, some shop updates and abit of time with my son..... Now fully booked back to back until mid October

Credits where it’s due Byron...you’ve put the research in and you know your craft to an extremely high level...if you were middle of the road you’d be booked to the end of next week not October. Have a good week off mate.

Thanks john!! so proud of the journey..... absolutely love going to work, which in itself is just a blessing! Now need to knuckle down and try and enjoy some fruits of the labour..... i think its time

ok guys, called in by a body shop who had a wrapped car in for a door replace...... they tried to do it themselves... then gave up and called in the pro's...... the rest of the wrap work was absolutely shocking.... but, we did our thing.... as usual Paint like finish. Interesting door to wrap with the selected super high tack film making life a pain to install solo. Using a high tack film is always a test of skills and good way to learn as everything feels "slightly" easier afterwards.

How about a monster wrap job ?? We used 25 metres of film on this half wrap 🙈🙈🙈🙈.... Insane !!
Sadly lost half the footage due to a CPU failure but still made the video work. During my week off I'll be editing up the rest of my outstanding videos and releasing shortly..... I've built up quite a backlog . Some serious 3am nights on this one, what a job!!!

Well I've been back at it for a week.... Last week's jobs were a alpina bi-turbo full detail and a very very challenging wrap with carbon film on a roof.

The wrap being gloss carbon means no stretching on install , the film is very thick and sticky meaning it's a NIGHTMARE to work with. Lots of swearing but... Managed it in a solid 30 mins which I was pleased with ....

Anybody want to have a go at wrapping their own roof with a high tack film???? well its not easy but i've put together a basic video to help you have a go yourself :-) This high gloss carbon film is one of my faves for the finish, sadly being SO sticky, thick and having the carbon pattern makes it very difficult to install..... Due to the pattern you can't stretch the film otherwise the weave pattern goes off and quite frankly they look terrible. With roofs not being flat we do have to apply cold stretch techniques to get it confirm with heat to soften, not stretch... a difficult balance! Enjoy! This would look ACE on a z4 coupe! The best finish high gloss carbon film I've seen so far. The effect is unreal.

Dont forget any of you Coupe owners that want to have a guide on wrapping your own roof heres a DIY...

https://youtu.be/dbvFGG37wIA

if you choose a well know brand such as Hexis, Arlon, teckwrap , Kpmf - these films will cost you around 45.00 for a couple of metres meaning you can install your own roof wrap for much cheaper than a pro doing it, only downside you have is, these more cost effective films are STICKY as hell, meaning they are a nightmare to work with. However if you follow my guide you will get there eventually... a properly done wrap job will have a paint like finish for much less than paint.

Clean install this morning for this customer focus ST with RS running gear...
