another one out the door! working on the vlog! This one KILLED me.... as i started working on the car it became apparent that it had had a bump and all the panels were held on with wood screw on the one side or glue! so i had to wrap around everything, not one piece came off the cr as no way was i putting myself in a position where i couldnt get it back together.... the result was a more pieceworked vehicle but the result was still to my satisfaction. It had so many poorly fitted aftermarket pieces but i worked with it... a true test of my wrapping skills. i also learned some lessons on this one and also learned some areas i need improvement ( like thoroughly checking over the cars before i take them in) customer left a 5 * review and overpaid his bill. WIN.

Ok abit more info on the wonderful z4m brought in by forum member Aaron.

The car came in for my winter protection deal....... and some poor wet sanding work to be rectified that was done by a dealer. The arrived looking like it needed some love, the owner extremely friendly and clear this was his pride and joy! The car was treated to a Full paint decontamination process over 4 stages, the car was lifted and the underside snow-foamed and blasted off it was then dried with a big boi air dryer and exterior polished for extreme gloss. I moved over to my nano machine to work on the main problem area on the drivers side rear hatch. Once it was complete the car was sealed with gtecniq C2 V3. i get to work on some AWESOME machines and let me tell you, bias aside these little Z4Ms are so so so special. i adore them. Was an honor to have it with me! I'd love to have it back for a proper correction detail one day.

This particular car has individual spec interior , very clean engine bay and just felt really honest. The car was lowered by a good 30-40mm and considerably lower than my track suspended z4m giving it a really mean squat stance as it sat.

Getting my own weekend snotter ready for 2020 ... This year will see this car travelling the country. It went underused for many years but last year saw its most use mileage wise in over a decade and i expect this year to be the same. Funny how things change, this car has become a real asset to the business and often sits in the work car park pride of place!

Service , Mot , and then back on the road.

This is something ive been thinking of as my paintwork is certainly not great

What kind of costs and time would you be looking at for a 2003 E85?

Thanks

Hi Byron, I have watched your business grow with interest and I am impressed with your dedication. Is wrapping now the main part of your business or is detailing (polishing, corrective detailing, new car detailing etc) still your main core?

Bee , both really .... And PPF installs. I get a even spread across the three disciplines. In terms of what I'm known for I'd say it's detailing . However because I can wrap so well I get these jobs too. The business model always always to be able to work across the three as I often found just doing one thing boring . My next move will be to buy and sell vehicles via the business and use my skills to upsell them which would be an amazing way to make some spare cash. I have been relentless with it and it's now starting to pay off.

After I won detailer of the year things definitely changed. I'm now getting jobs where all three things are rolled into one which is nice but stressful .
