Really interested in how you’re getting along. Always fancied going out on my own (and in my industry it’s relatively easy) but never really had the balls to do it. You’ve just got to push any kind of fear of failure out of your mind, I guess.

Don’t underestimate Insta if you’re familiar with it. Far more popular with the generation that is going to be asking for your services in the years to come.

things are ticking along, checkout out www.topwrapz.com and see a very familiar car as the face of the business!! she looks so good, doing me proud!! :D :D :D :D :D !!!! lol!! also the insta and FB links are on landing site..... Yeah its scary man, but so exciting, when i see all the giants around me failing ( carillon, maplins, toys r us, now poundland), sometimes i wonder what chance does little me have, but got to keep my eye on the prize and work hard!! i really have a passion and i think i can succeed here, but trying isnt failing!! not trying would be failing.

Go for it mate, you only live once!!!

Learn where they fail :D I think the market all over the place with the tools at our disposal is ripe for small independents to do a good thing well and thrive at the moment!

I found using followliker has been great for growing my car page and stuff like detailing and wraps gets heaps of attention on instaland :)

like I say, thoroughly recommend followlikr (probably a few better tools out there now but I'm a creature of habit) Perfect for automating likes and follows/unfollows as well as scheduling posts so you can prepare a whole week's worth and forget about it. Still have to keep up with replying to comments etc but takes a big part of the effort out day to day
 
See you found my good mate Steve to do your clothing. He's a good lad, known him for 20 odd years since we were both finance managers for a large main dealership.

Only piece of advice on the website stuff.....use a Wordpress template and CMS, easy to use and update.....never fall into the trap of getting a 'bespoke' site.

Semi agree.

A HTML site can be an easy to set up, less prone to hacker approach if your overall template isn't going to change too much (ie most updates being on FB etc)
 
Now have commercial scale Graphtec plotter and can recreate / create any decal you want...... if anyone wants something made , drop me a line. Got a few jobs lined up for july signWriting some commercial vans, a PPF install on a focus RS mk3, PPF install on a new m4, carbon hood wrap on the same m4 and 2 audi A1 roof wraps :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

Today i made a large abarth badge for a friend for his track spec fiat 500 for the corner of the hood, and also recreated a porsche GT3 rear badge to be used under the engine compartment in a track vehicle....
 
and PPf install on my own z4 too!! thats a must!! Once this is done, it will be stickers up with the PPF logos and will be back on track earning my some precious business traffic in a environment that directly hits my target audience while i have some FUN..... and it will be nicely protection moving forward :D :D
