I was tired and nicely relaxed after our first NE run on Sunday. Cherrym was keen to do our mid week run out however as he'd not been able to attend on Sunday (the traitor had other responsibilities
) Craig was up for it so I found myself at our usual meet up point waiting for the pair of them and wondering how I'd find the day. . .
Well I have to say, the sun came out, we had blue skies, Cherrym chose some brilliant roads that were empty, beautiful, flowing and smooth - I pulled out happy to bring up the rear and still slightly jaded from all the excitement of Sunday but - within a few miles - we were all back on form (me included) and slicing through some fantastic scenery wrapped in a bright blue sky on wonderous roads and I was loving it! It was glorious and the roads so quiet - the traffic we did come across was despatched smoothly and we pressed on to more familiar stopping points but then headed out again on more isolated routes. It was brilliant.
As usual we had a long and indulgent stop for lunch - plenty to talk about and then a return on the routes we'd taken - they felt completely different and were just as thrilling and enjoyable on the way back. Another fabulous day only marred by yours truly. . . .
Best put perhaps, in the words of Tom Cruise in Top Gun: - " I only broke the hard deck for a few seconds, there was no danger, I saw the opportunity and I took it"
  and quite rightly the response should be "And broke a major rule of Z4 Forum engagement put there for your safety and the safety of other Z4 Forum members! :x "
I'd better make a formal apology to Chezsherman - Sorry mate won't do that again - don't know what came over me

Chezsherman was last seen stomping off, holding a coffee mug, wiping his front down and shouting "I want some butts!"
Great day lads - I'll post some more photos later . . .
