Sorry but it was obvious who it was... as soon as they brought in the white stig Spokey strangely started posting less and not being around the forum quite so much... coincidence... I think not?!!! :D
 
Isn't the whole point of 'The Stig' the fact it can be anyone they want it to be, so long as they are roughly a certain height/build!?

Hasn't anyone noticed that he drives basically anything these days. I'm pretty certain they'll just get an expert driver for whatever vehicle, and stick him in a 'Stig' racing suit :)

I'm guessing that certain manufacturers won't allow the Top Gear employee to rag the arse off their car, and will insist it is one of their guys, and this method allows them to do that.

I do think Sabine Schmitz would be a better alternative though, now the Stig has run his course. The commentary would be funny!
