For all those who like to watch the show i just thought id post a quick reminder that the show is back on TV soon

Sunday at 9pm on BBC Two

http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/show/

lets see how much of a CAR show this series is!?

iPlayer is locked for UK use... based on IP address - I assume why srhutch suggested a proxy in the UK.

WLH, is this a big show in the US?

It pays to rent a foreign server, think of iTunes for example that is loads cheaper in the US then in the UK.

The US guys can rent a UK server for a few dollars a month, just to do IP based stuff.

Its on every Monday evening from 8 until 10 on BBC US. The shows are a year old or more. Last night the show was the one where Richard Hammond raced a Euro Fighter in a Veyron. I know there was talk of a US version of the program but have not heard anything lately.

I use this trick to watch daily show clips which are blocked in the UK so it might work in reverse for Americans wanting iPlayer. Or maybe you need to give it a different IP address.

In firefox, install the following addon:
http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/967 then:

1) In Firefox, Go to tools->modify headers
2) From the drop down box on the left select add
3) Then enter: “X-Forwarded-For” in the first input box without the quotation marks
4) Enter: “12.13.14.15″ in the second input box without the quotation marks
5) Leave the last input box empty, and save the filter, and enable it (http://imgur.com/Feb4.png)
6) Click the ‘Configuration’ tab on the right then proceed to check the ‘always on’ button.

Close the Modify Headers box and it should work.

Edit: UK IP to try would be 195.195.195.195
