Top Gear Seriously Impressed

It was bound to happen sooner or later. It seems that Porsche has nailed the electric sports saloon. 2.4 tons is still too heavy for me personally, but what car that thing is. 8) Forgot the name all ready though. :D

The rest of the show is pretty good too. We all fell about laughing at the Pontiac's demise.   Paddy you used a life up there mate.

Great series so far... my (Northern) wife is seriously impressed by the presence of two of her kind... I think they’re pretty good too 😆😁

I think( in my opinion) that they are a better trio than Clarkson et al. Funnier too. I think their fave word to use so far is bellend

Can’t forget the name , being that it’s written across the entire length of the rear end . Get that debadged 8)

A car with those capabilities without a great big noise just ain’t right . I’m struggling to get on board with this electric stuff . I’m only 30 however I don’t think they will get the infrastructure required in the Uk built to make these mainstream in my lifetime .

I watched 10 mins of these three wannabes over Xmas trying so obviously too hard to be...A..funny B...controversial...they’re about as funny as a burning hospital.

Mr Harris has sold out completely.....but hey, he’s got a mortgage...perhaps... so why not...

Personally I think in the current series they have been great, although I haven't watched tonight's episode yet (recorded it).

There seems to be some good chemistry between them that has had me laughing plenty. And thankfully they let Chris do the "serious" reviews - after all he is pretty handy behind the wheel!

If they carry on like this I really won't miss the Clarkson era presenters. I've seen a few episodes of Grand Tour but quickly got bored with it. :(

Lol at the firebird deconstructing itself, it’s an amusing programme :P
Rob

All three of us wet ourselves laughing at that bit. :D

That car was a total death trap from the off though. :o

Even if the Pontiac was rigged to kill itself it was still hilarious.

Been ok so far but tonight’s was great. Taycan as fast round the track as the NSX too... wow.

Blo#dy Northerners. Mrs G and Daughter have spent the entire week saying Boogatti Veyron, in a fake Paddy McGuinesss accent. :headbang:

Yes, spotted the cuts in the rear metal work under the car and the obviously set camera position. Had no idea exactly what was about to occur though, hilarious.

I love the noise of the Taycan under full acceleration. The 'ships' they used in the Flash Gordon films of the 50's (remember those) made a similar noise. Time to move on. Only 30 indeed. What does that mean? :D

I thought it was a bit suspicious that the very next town, just happens to have another american classic for sale... hmm :P
Regardless it did make me chuckle, and agree this trio are so much better than Matt le'Blanc et al.

He wasn’t so bad, it’s Clarkson/Hammond & co that were past their sell by date

Like the new series but wish they did more reviews rather than the mindless bollocks they are doing like the silly challenges
