Top Gear recording

After years of waiting, I've finally got onto the list for the Top Gear recording the week after next.

I've been to a couple of TV recordings before, so I know to get there early to make sure I get in. Has anyone else been and what's it been like? Any suggestions as to how to get a good spot?

Take a friend with big tits.

Preferably female.

I've been told that there is a lot of standing about involved, if your girl is anything like mine then that won't go down too well!

Turn up. Hang about for an hour or two watching everybody arrive in their Scoobies/E46M3's/911s etc. Eat some food, drink some coffee, buy a tshirt. Then it's pretty much the rest of the day solid filming with a 20 minute break for crisps and drinks. You'll have a great time and there are some good roads en route to the studio.

Nice, I was at the show where they all bought E30 convertibles a few years ago, you can see me behind James May when they ran the Maclaren round the track for its time.

As above, stick with the attractive ladies. Stand behind the news area and near the lap board and any other decent / new cars in the studio.
