Cheers, been looking out for that - guessed it'd be starting soon as Hammond was on Radio 1 this afternoon "selling" himself lol

Don't waste time going. Most boring thing I have been to, even though I was on Telly at the front for 30 secs!

Thanks for the Headsup, but what actually happens do you spend a lot of time standing around while the boys do there bit?

I noticed on here: http://www.finalgear.com that UK Top Gear starts a week today.

I've been watching the USA version in the last few weeks... which is an interesting take on the UK show! :? The guys are getting a lot of stick (even from American people) but I reckon its not that bad. :D

That's right, he's the drift expert and stunt driver guy.

It's a bit like making a US Morecambe and Wise without Eric or Ernie though !

Pretty much get moved around the studio - ok they make some jokes and use some very bad language - and there is a tea break where James may helps serve the tea - but you are either watching them record the Star in a Car - I watched Jeff Goldblum, and it was soooooo boring. They cut out more than half of what he said....and rest of time you are watching the VT's (standing up as nowhere to sit down other than the floor) but go if you get tickets and you'll see what I mean.....

I went to top gear a few years ago (the guest was sienna miller so was worth it just for that  )

I thought it was quite a good day out... them pratting about is pretty funny most of the time.. most of which could never be shown on the telly.

But as Nickm says most of the day is standing doing very little... so best if you go with a group of people so you can keep yourselves entertained.
