Top Gear Australia

Has anyone else seen it yet? I'm watching it now and the show just gives me a really weird feeling. It's a complete rip-off of the original Top Gear. The Australian accent will take some time to get used to but I can get past that. It probably bugs me more that they repeatedly pronounce Porsche wrong as Por-sh instead of Por-sha. Other than that, the entire studio seems to be a replica of the original Top-Gear. The way they film the cars, etc, is pretty much the same. They have a Stig too, and the host introduces him by saying "Some say..........." just like Jeremy Clarson. I don't know. It just feels ...weird. And the hosts just don't deliver the lines like JC, James & Hamster.

I guess we're getting a preview of how the Top Gear America will be like.

Saw it a couple days ago. It wasnt bad but not as good as the original thing. I dont think anyone can beat the chemistry those 3 guys have and that's what really 'makes' the show in my opinion. Anyway the US and AUS shows are meant to be exactly like the UK one including the Stig and star in reasonably priced car and everything. In fact Andy Wilman the UK show's producer is producing or at least the first one/ones of both the US and Aus shows.
