Ask your self this. Do I just want to get there or do I want to drive there. :driving: Motorways are boring as sin and about the only place I would ever have the roof up. But if I'm out for a drive I would still have the roof down and be sat at 60mph in the slow lane. :D

i certainly won't be do 60mph

I drive slower than I do on C roads. There's just no point to driving fast in a staight line in my book, unless it's very very fast. :driving: Just sit back and enjoy the view, you might be surprised what great scenery there is viewed from some of out busy motorways.

(Even at night.)

That's 100km per hour is it????????????/  :)
Nope definitely Mph 'twas in Germany over the summer so was liking the novelty of derestricted motorways. Actually had the car quite a bit faster than that but with the roof up

I maxed out my old 3.0 in Germany with the roof down, it's gets windy at 150mph! But no better way to do it!

Roof up of its dark, cold and just motorway - I prefer being snug in the cabin during drives like that. Oh, and the weather down here is due to be shite tomorrow...

i have a deflector but never got around to fitting it, does it really make THAT much of a difference?

reason for not fitting is because i have custom red leather hoops so wont fit, i have since got 2nd hand hoop covers and had them sprayed but ive heard they break when removing, so don't really want to remove my red leather hoops and break them

Is anybody brave enough to say they'd not put the roof down?

I did 6 hours last night to Dover & the topgoing down wasn't even a thought , traffic was manic from 6pm to 12pm , stop start for large parts of it with complete standstill 4 times  i wish you the best of luck as you'l be on the same roads
Was nice to be cocooned inside with my bag of Liquorice allsorts & pretend i was enjoying it

The infamous M1 debacle that I had and "prevents" me from going oop Norf?

How about selling the clip in one and getting a "gimp" deflector, saw one over the weekend and they actually look decent when fitted

coz then the gimp part would just cover up the red leather with black leather...

will try again next summer as only managed to get the roll hoops sprayed near the end of this summer so never really had the chance to try even if i was to swap over. will just have to wait and see i suppose :D
