Ha ha!!! I used to belt it down this road when i lived in Calverley (Leeds). Yes I agree not a bad road at all!

White Rose is a pile of cack though. I split up with an ex-girlfriend once there. For this reason alone it will always stick in my head! :P

all these are pretty good tracks, and all within 100 miles of my house in Nottinghamshire, East Midlands. (well.. one's 113, but meh)
Prices range from around £99 to £160 for most days depending on format (open pit or sessions), time of year, club discounts etc.
Hard to say what are the "top 10", as it's a lot to do with your driving ability / trackday experience and what you want to achieve; driving quickly / challenge your skills / drive a historic track / etc.
 
Ok, now I'm really jealous. eleven tracks within 100 miles. I think I have one, yes one and it's only available once in a while.
I have friends in Corby and now I'm pissed at them too 'coz I didn't know thay had a track right there. They took me to Rockingham Castle and the British Steel plant but never mentioned a track nearby. Ah, it probably wasn't built yet, but I'm still po'd ....

you lucky sods, I'm gonna go cry in my coffee now.

There's a Nascar Speedway and a couple of other big tracks near my place in Phoenix..... :P :P :P

But I'm not there, I'm stuck in the frozen north, working.

Done some bike trackdays at Oulton, really is a cracking track. Never been brave enough to risk taking a car though.
 
The BMW Car Club have one at Oulton Park in Feb (12th).
About £120 I think...

I may go if I can get some leave
