Heat them up with a hairdryer, to soften the adhesive and either pry them off with your fingers, or slide a fishing line behind and "saw" them off. Remove the leftover adhesive by rolling them up, again easier with heat, and then a light polish to remove any outline left.

Any little tips on de badging without damaging paint work?

The techniques already listed or alternatively use some dental floss to remove the badges and peel off as much of the trim tape as you can. Then tar remover or WD40 and a cloth to remove any remaining tiny bits of trim tape and adhesive. Depending on how the paint looks once your done you might want to polish/wax after that.
I removed mine a week or so ago, it does look better with all the tat removed
