Too soon to trade?

Yep, I'd definitely have a think about that one! Nice spec. Come on! Just picture that sat on your drive! :P

One point and nothing to do with this topic, but I am increasingly going off a little on those 19" wheels! I fully intended on buying some for mine (expensive mind!!), but I parked mine next to a demo with the 19" at the dealers and I have to say I preferred my 18"! The 19" just looked a little "ordinary". Shame they don't my 18" style in 19".

Will see how I feel come tyre changing time (which will be next month on the rears at this rate!!).

Before I ordered mine and the options list was released, I had decided that I wanted the 5 double spoke 18's with the bolts, (same as yours Breaker ?) but when I saw the look of the 19's my mind was made up! :D I felt on the old Z4 that the 17's looked a wee bit lost in the large rear wheel arches and I didn't want to make the same mistake again. The 19's are a bugger to clean, but the polished parts look amazing IMO.

That is a nice car from Sytner, but made me think, I paid a bit less than that for my car on order, mine does not have the white pack, sat nav, 19" rims or telephone, however are all these extras worth it, over a new car, especially as it will be a year old in a few weeks

FWIW when I bought my Z4 in 04 they'd bee out a year and I got the same discount on new as I would have paid for one a year old.

In contrast, when I bought the TT it was a year old and I saved 10k off list.

That doesn't help at all does it :?

Nice car though, I'll have one at some point.

Those extras are just nice to have. I suppose no one needs tv, brake function and white leather seats but then again... why not? It's all going to come to down how much it will cost to buy one with that spec in a years time. According the the bmw website, that car with that spec would cost around £37k new. So less than a year later to save 5K seems like a bit of a deal. Just a shame it's 5K over my current budget :(

My mind is made up though - I will be getting one of those. I'll have to be patient I think.

I'm really glad my car came with the Sat Nav/Media centre. The hard drive for the sound system is a great addition! :P

After having mine for a bit now would I choose a 7 month old, well speced up used ex BMW car over a brand new basic spec car if they were around the same price?

Yes!
