Too many previous owners?

Thanks for all the quick replies guys!

It's on for £16,750 (ruby black and champagne leather), spec is as follows:
- Bluetooth prep.
- Cruise control
- Professional Navigation
- Professional hi-fi
- Heated seats
- Parking sensors

Does the price seem reasonable?

35k, good spec, Insp II just completed and good tyres (brakes?). No big costs just around the corner.

Presumably it comes with a warranty also? Seems to be a pretty reasonable price to me.

<40k cars seems to be commanding a premium at the moment and prices actually seem to be on the up (especially for lower mileage examples). I'd try to get it for £16,250, but to be honest if the dealer isnt willing to move on price, go for it. You won't find cars in good condition with this spec list at this price point very often.

I asked about the brakes but he didn't know when/if they'd been done - the dealer thought that if there were very near replacement it would have been flagged in the Inspection II, does that sound right? Not sure if it's something they'd check.....

Thanks for the advice re the price.

I had an oil change/brake fluid change and mot at batemans and they checked everything including my brakes and gave me an indication of when they needed changing. But you can see how much meat they have on the pads just have a look.

Thanks for the info again, much appreciated.

I know this is a friendly place, but I didn't expect so many responses so quickly - good work and thanks!

If I hadn't bought mine when I did, next in line was the one you're looking at.

It is the one that's incorrectly advertised as Dakota lemon leather?

Yep, it's champagne leather (I checked the spec) - the pics don't help either as they make it look a bit yellow.

Yeah the pics do make it look yellow. Cracking car though. And decent price

mine had 3 owners in 5 years dealer then a chap that had the red leather changed for black he could not get my colour with black leather at the time had it 2 years sold it on to a women that couldn't afford it as a every day car.my ownership 2 years plus 2 oxygen sensors and a roof pump that's it .
1 mileage 2 condition 3 all services main dealer 4 how it drives and you can then get the feel for the car you know if it is a good car or not

I've always wondered if its better for a car to have had a few owners. Reduces the chances that it has been thrashed every day of its life by one individual idiot.

It also reduces the chance that it has been cosseted for every mile too of course but I believe the point to be valid.

Would you reject you ideal woman because she wasnt a virgin? :poke:

I'd date Sienna Miller regardless of how many boyfriends she's had.... I'd probably marry her too

I think she's had enough 'wood' in her time...

Seems a a lot - Perhaps one was the Dealer - is it an Aberdeen car - might explain it . I would have about 3-4 would be the average on a 6-7 year old car.

By the way welcome- from a fellow Aberdeen member- when you get the MC ( this one or another one) - it would be good to see it out!

Yeah, Westhill so basically Aberdeen inflated prices - would do you think it's value should be?

Thanks, will let you know if I get it :).

I walk to work, so it would be a weekend car (apart from the odd weekday journey).

As others have said, the condition and history is more important than owners to me.

Keep us posted - Ian west of the city too - good to have another aberdeenshire owner
