Too hot for comfort

Ok - so it's hot in the uk, but how about this In San Pedro, Andalusia this afternoon.

Crawling through town when I snapped this. Thankfully found a bar soon after where it was a mere 37c..

I had the same problem last year in France , I drove to Germany and the lowest the temp got to was 20ish at 4 in the morning , stopped at a place called Heilbronn to have the car re mapped , by the time it was done the temp was 44 , it negated any benefit from the re map .
Drove up from France ten hours with the roof down all the way , roof was back up after the re map , just to hot .
 
Experienced those kinds of temperatures in Alanya, Turkey and Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt. It was bad enough sitting beside a pool all day.

Night time was the worst for me with the humidity. I sweat like crazy on even the coldest days, so you can imagine how drenched I was after 15 minutes of walking about.

Bloody hell yes we had 45 deg in Turkey a couple of years ago, and as you say the night it only dropped a couple of degrees, I sat reading car mags on the balcony at 1am at around 40 deg dripping in sweat. Never again, no escape from it. We landed in Blighty to rain and around 18deg, it was bliss..!!
 
46 c That's got me liked. Had 44 c in Pakistan for days on end, several years back. That was hot as Hell. :evil:

Bet that beer tasted good. 8)
 
Similar to others. Went to Dubai in August a few years ago and it was 48c every day. Strangely not too bad though - it was a very dry heat like opening an oven door to retrieve your cooked food!

Kuwait has apparently hit 54c this week and if you want to experience what that's like then a trip to Death Valley or Furnace Creek will do it. It's regularly over 50c there in the summer.
 
Yes - the beer or 3 was good. Clearly not high temperatures by global standards, but an issue keeping my beer cool :(

Thankfully the humidity is very low and it drops to high 20's overnight. Our place has aircon so we can get welcome respite in the evenings.

Don't feel sorry for me though ...:)
