Too clean to drive...

I often have moments when I have spent 4 hours cleaning the car and it's too clean I just love looking at it and it's too nice to drive it...sad I know...

Get out there man - it'll be dirty after it rains during the week anyway :driving:

Does look lovely though

Looks brand new! And as for those alloys, could eat your lunch off them. I really should take mine off and sort them

Watch out for zealous traffic wardens - your offside wheels are over the white lines - happened to me last year in a council car park - £50 fine although I had the last laugh as they got the last digit wrong on my VRM ( an X instead of a Z ( no pun intended ) ) appealed successfully

Lovely car - know how you feel and mine's a lowly E85 worth 3/6d

Looks fab and I I know what you mean, as I often feel the same when looking at mine all clean and shiney.
Seriously you just need to take it for a drive now :driving:

And I'm only about 5 cm from the kerbside....but anyway.

Ruby nobody emailed me back re Kent and meeting up earlier, so 6am come and went. Had a great day cleaning the car and getting it looking this good.

Going for a drive out in it now to Kew......

Such a lovely day to be doing whatever makes you happy....

Enjoy! :driving:
It's an awesome day. Had a little drive this morning now got my new red patio set up outdoors. Relaxing on the sun lounger :)

I do that too but right now the car is too filthy to drive. It's covered in bloody pollen! I live in a city centre ffs! :headbang:

Thankfully no trees on my road, so that's good....seat not being done until week after next now, which is ok.....

Just went for a quick drive and it was lovely.....sometimes even with a convertible it's too hot.....

I know exactly how you feel Angie, my white zed is also covered in Edinburgh pollen and is now looking distinctly yellow, something CarolM would no doubt appreciate

That Edinburgh pollen gets everywhere, its like Sahara sand lol! It's really the only time of year a yellow car is appropriate lol! Oh well. Hopefully I'll have my car cover shortly and once it's washed it can stored under that until it's time to get it all dirty with flies.

Not that sad! I do the same and put it back in the garage till we're guaranteed a fine dry day. Its not OCD just pride of owning something good.

This is what you get for owning an "enthusiast's car". Inevitably you want it to be clean at all times.

Where do you draw the line though..?

It's quite handy that I enjoy cleaning the car ALMOST as much as driving it.

By the way those E89 alloys are my favourite OEM wheels at the moment.

The guys at the car wash now use my own cleaning products, mits etc when I can't be bothered....and do you know what? I let them clean it once and rinse it off, and get them to wash it again.....gives me so much pleasure!!

Is this Northfields? I'm a regular there, was there on Sunday morning. That place was a good recommendation  , they're good blokes. Even got a free car wash recently :D

Bit of sideway action on a nice muddy Cornish lane, will have that sorted in no time. :driving:
