Don't know if this has been posted before, so apologies if it has,but whilst updating my TomTom i was having a look through the different options via TomTom Home.I came across the option to personalise your TomTom by changing the cursor to which ever you want IE: Z4 roadster which you can have in either white or silver.
How you do this is by connecting your TomTom to "TomTom home" software which you have to download but if you have the TomTom home software already downloaded. Then go into "Add traffic, voices, etc" and then move onto "images and icons" then move onto "car symbols".The Z4 car symbol is free to download onto your TomTom.And hey presto it should look like this.

I got PocketGPSWorld to make me a custom one from the Schnitzer Z4 Coupe - a free offer for subscribers.

Since then I've made my own from my own car, and if you want you can always recolour your's (it's not difficult).

you can take a picture of your own car and download some special software to replace the std cursor. Some of the better TomTom models allow you easily to change the cursor I believe, but i needed to use the software for the TomTom 1 that I have.

Er, it just replaces the standard arrow cursor - the icon size is fixed.
