Ye I kind of agree with the alloys colour now. I have seen some great images of the shadow chrome but some really awful ones too. Unless it is the perfect light they look a bit odd, but I will look into it eventually its just all the reputable companies are over 100 miles from me and the OEM colour looks great, spend the £400 on another mod perhaps.
I really like the orange too, although not to everyones taste I think it really sets the car off. Orange and grey are complementary colours so it seemed natural. The calipers were painted with Foliatec caliper paint. The only one I could find with the right orange, but if you want red or any of the more common colours then you can get these paints readily from Halfords or your local auto store
The silver grey might be more of a common colour too, but the new pics definitely show it off well the way the light catches it fantastic!!
The badge under the bonnet mod is one I always do, I just feel it brightens up the engine compartment, mine is maybe one size too big but still looks pretty good
I agree huge improvement! That double dish on the back aswell
I know we get used to seeing CSLs on the forum and they may seem common but I have never seen a Z4M in the flesh with them on and wow they really do finish the car off. Cant say I've seen more than 50 BMs with CSLs in the flesh but these cars are quite prestigious up here whereas in the south there more two a penny which is a shame.
You can see from the two pics how when the light is really bright it really shows its true colours the silver grey cast and in more average light just a grey. I love the colour much more than I thought I would. Ive always been a Black or Carbon Black BMW colour fan.
Thanks again for the comments... There might be a few more cheeky pics of the rear coming soon...
Great post Tom and the car looks sweet on the CSL's. Look forward to seeing at the lakes meet in July mate. Keep up the good work and classy mods. It's a credit to you
